The site required significant environmental coordination and posed many design challenges. The facility is a collaboration between Ford Motor Land Development Corporation and RGL."

It functions as a “pack plant” where products, mostly automotive components, are delivered by truck or rail and repackaged before being shipped to final assembly facilities in South America and Australia.
