The space includes a News Room for on-site broadcasts and a public viewing area. The space is situated to allow public entry from the adjacent courtyard, which is also used as a broadcast backdrop. Finishes were kept simple, allowing the tenant to install displays, fixture, lighting and signage to complete the space. Design challenges included accommodating the programming within the minimal square footage and providing adequate acoustical separations between public and broadcast spaces. As the Architect of Record, HAA’s scope of work included architectural services and coordination of mechanical and electrical consultants.
