HAA served as associate architect of record for MGM National Harbor Casino and Hotel — MGM Resorts International's new entertainment facility. HAA specialized as the casino architect and was responsible for planning of the gaming floor and associated entertainment venues, along with administration and back of house spaces, High Limit gaming area, the Shake Shack, TAP Sportsbar, Voltaggio Brothers Steak House, Fish by José Andrés, MGM Logo Store, Sarah Jessica Parker Retail Store, Men’s Fashion Store and the Garden Gift Shop.

MGM National Harbor encompasses the art, history and natural beauty of the surrounding landscape into different aspects of the venue. "

The project consists of a 300-room hotel, a full-service spa, upscale retail spaces, restaurant experiences ranging from casual to fine dining, a conference center, a 4,000-seat theater, and a feature conservatory.
