The main opportunities of the enhancement for our design team were the windows, stair towers and entry.

The existing buildings had a simple punched out window pattern with minimal depth, and the team aimed to add a sense of texture and visual interest to the flat facade. The glazing exaggerates the depth of the new windows by tilting them 25 degrees from the plane of the building, creating a dynamic elevation.

The wedge-shaped windows also create an interesting arrangement of shadows throughout the course of the day. The windows have a bronze metallic finish, highlighting their projected sides while complimenting the tan colored brick.
