The renovation scope consisted of a complete gut and reconfiguration of the kitchens, food service stations and dinging area into individually branded food court style service counters."

The dining was updated to incorporate soft seating, a video gaming area, study areas and new restroom facilities. In addition to the interior renovation a complete façade renovation was implemented. The façade changes eliminated the dated precast concrete panels and punched window openings replacing it with a curtain wall and brick design inspired by the 2009 dorm façade renovation that in addition to opening the dining area to natural light unified the entire south elevation. Other exterior design features are a terrace area with fire pit and a stepped seating area enclosed by a glass and aluminum wing screen. A new entry canopy that invites student into the main entry was introduced and integrated into the new curtain wall façade.
