The project included programming the space to accommodate an entry lobby and seating area with a children’s alcove, a new reception desk, a billing office, a nurse’s station, treatment rooms, storage, x-ray equipment with areas for offices, consultations and evaluations, and labs.
HAA worked with the contractor to select and specify new casework, millwork, lighting, and floor, ceiling and wall finishes for the updated areas, and plumbing f ixtures for the treatment areas, sterilization area and lab. An emphasis was placed on providing higher-end but easily sanitized, durable finishes and custom-designed installations; glass openings and partitions at the transaction areas of the billing office, and, for openness, at the sterilization area.
HAA provided architectural and engineering drawings suitable for permitting and bids –emphasizing quick turnaround.
