Julian Sabin will celebrate his two-year anniversary at HAA later this year. After receiving his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Iowa State University, he came to Detroit for the opportunity to work here and be part of the exciting time the city is experiencing.

“My favorite part about landscape architecture and the work we do is getting the ability to create spaces in the built urban environment that have the potential to impact people’s lives on a daily basis,” Julian said.

Thus far, Julian has most enjoyed the role he has played in HAA’s work with the Solanus Casey Center Master Plan.

“What started out as a parking study for the Center has evolved into something much bigger,” Julian said. “I’m excited to see it all come to fruition.”
