The Strathmore Apartments is the renovation of a vacant historic hotel into a new midtown Detroit destination. The renovated facility will feature 129 apartments, a restored lobby and skylit garden community room, a restored exterior façade with detailed lighting, a new canopy and streetscape along West Alexandrine and the addition of a parking lot adjacent to the alley.

The project involves a mixture of funding sources including: private development, MSHDA Low Income Housing Tax Credits and Historic Tax Credits. Hamilton Anderson has assisted in applications and documentation required of these funding sources and has been successful in meeting the requirements and being awarded the funding. Hamilton Anderson provided design and construction documents for the building and site, has worked with the Construction Manager on establishing the budget and updating costs throughout the documentation process.
