Oakland University Anton/Frankel Center

Located in the heart of downtown Mount Clemens, Oakland University redeveloped a 26,000 sf existing office building into its first satellite campus outside of Rochester, Mich. HAA provided architecture, landscape architecture and interior design services for the space while also integrating the facility into Mount Clemens as an effort to improve the downtown area.

The classrooms were designed as flexible spaces, allowing for several types of classes and teaching styles to occupy the space. Rooms are able to fit small seminars as well as up to 60 students. "

The classrooms were designed as flexible spaces, allowing for several types of classes and teaching styles to occupy the space. Rooms are able to fit small seminars as well as up to 60 students. In addition to the classrooms, administration and faculty offices are also located in the facility.

The Anton/Frankel Center recognizes the symbiotic relationships between Oakland University and Mount Clemens.

HAA is currently converting existing classrooms in the Anton/Frankel Center into a nursing lab. The nursing lab will also boast a lounge area for students to gather and meet throughout the day.
