What better way to kick off a weekend than with an award? HAA won Landscape Planning Analysis Merit Awards from the Michigan Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (MiASLA) for The Fort Wayne Master Plan and The Brush Park A+B Parcels. Congrats Site Team on all your hard work! Check out the cool renderings below!

Brush Park A + B Parcels

The Brush Park Parcels Project covers 8.4 acres, and offers a variety of household options, such as apartment homes, townhomes, and duplexes to accommodate multiple populations.

Specifically, HAA designed the flats, in collaboration with Los Angeles based Lorcan O’Herlihy Architects. HAA’s designs consider the presence of the historic home contemporary residences to form a diverse, eclectic neighborhood. Streets that run north and south will be apartments with commercial development on the first floor. Whereas streets that run east and west will feature townhomes with historic mansions in the background.

Fort Wayne Master Plan

Fort Wayne is an 83-acre historic site in Southwest Detroit valued by generations of Detroiters as one of the most historic and unique sites in Michigan. With focused attention and investment, Fort Wayne has the potential to become a highly compelling destination and serve as an important community amenity for the City of Detroit once again.   The State of Michigan, in consultation with the City of Detroit and the Historic Fort Wayne Coalition, engaged a team of professionals to craft a compelling vision for the site’s future. The prime consultant, an economic development consultant, hired HAA to provide master planning and site design expertise.

Have a great weekend!
